About This Program
Our mission at Children's Hospital of University of Illinois is to educate a diverse group of trainees to provide exceptional care for Chicago's children. Through clinical teaching and education focused on research, advocacy, and equity, graduates become leaders in the community, match in competitive fellowships, and embark on careers in academics or hospital medicine. Faculty provide well-rounded training in inpatient and outpatient pediatrics while caring for an underserved urban population.
