University of Colorado Program
About This Program
In addition to the five years of general surgery clinical training, categorical residents are expected to spend at least two years in research/academics. There is abundant opportunity for clinical as well as basic science research within the department. Alternatively, several of our residents have completed masters degrees during the two research years.
